Short term memory amnesia

Short-term memory is the information that a person is currently thinking about or is aware of. It is also called primary or active memory. Alzheimer’s disease or Lewy body dementia.


Transient global amnesia ( TGA) is a neurological disorder whose key defining characteristic is a temporary but almost total disruption of short-term memory with a range of problems accessing older memories. A person in a state of TGA exhibits no other signs of impaired cognitive functioning but recalls only. The person is unable to program new information and store them in the brain as new memory.

He remembers everything about the incidents that happened before the trauma , which caused the condition but cannot register anything fresh.
