Bad memory in 30s

A diet high in sugar and unhealthy trans fats can put you in a brain fog and leave you feeling anxious or depressed. When your diet is poor, the brain doesn’t get the nutrients it needs to create healthy brain cells and form the brain chemicals that control memory. But memory loss can happen even before we hit our 50s. Many people even in their 20s and 30s have forgotten a name or an appointment date or some fact that was on the tip of their tongue. A number of lifestyle factors, including depression and being uneducate contribute to memory loss in younger adults.

In the past several weeks, I’ve completely blanked on the title of a book I’d just finished reading as well as on the name of an old college friend.

It is also noted that smoking can shrink a critical part of your brain – your cortex. Your cortex is the outer layer of your brain, and it naturally thins as you age, but smoking accelerates this. Although there are no guarantees when it comes to preventing memory loss or dementia, certain activities might help. Consider seven simple ways to sharpen your memory — and know when to seek help for memory loss.

Seven normal memory problems. A simple blood test can tell if your thyroid is doing its job properly. Drinking too much alcohol can interfere with short-term memory , even after the effects of alcohol have worn off. Over the course of the last years, my memory has deteriorated to a point where I struggle to remember what I did the night before.

It’s gotten to the point where I will tell him a story and mins later I’ll start to retell the same story not remembering I just told it.

I am forgetting simple things.
